Cycling Holiday Tour Mallorca Weekly Blog
April 18th 20228
Hi & welcome to our weekly blog intending to keep you all updated with what weโve been up to in the week & a look ahead to the coming week on the beautiful island of Mallorca.
This week started with a trip to Cala dโOr to ride out with Dan Tate who is a GBR duathlete over in Mallorca on holiday & he got in touch to get our on the bike so he can keep up his training in readiness for up & coming competitions. It was a pleasure to be contacted by a GBR athlete & great to get out on the road to show him some fantastic routes.
We also had a group of cyclists from Dublin with us this week and clients out with us from USA, Germany & Finland.
We cycled some fantastic routes again this week with our clients. We visited Cala dโOr, Felanitx, Betlem in Arta, Sant Salvador, Porto Cristo, Castell de Santueri & Inca, Lluc, Sa Calobra. The weather was mixed this week with some wet & windy days. We still got out to get the miles in with our clients. We seen a lot more cyclists on the roads this week enjoying the splendours of Mallorca cycling. We expect it will get busier this next week with the 312 next weekend.
The Cycling Sports Cafรฉ on the beachfront in Cala Millor is open 7 days a week 09:00 to 17:00 and we have welcomed cyclists & non-cyclists to the cafรฉ whom have enjoyed sampling some great food, coffee, cake and fine wine from our new menu.
Looking ahead to this week we plan to cycle from Cala Millor to Alcudia to climb Victoria with our Irish clients. We have a group from the UK stopping in Port de Pollanca whom are over for the 312 and want to see some great routes with us for a few days leading up to the 312 next weekend. We also pick up a group of South Africans who are with us for a week enjoying some great routes around the island as well as Vineyard tours we have organised.
We canโt wait for another great week here in Mallorca.
Thanks,
CHTM Team
