Dan, who represents Team GB finished 1st in the 2022 AG World Sprint Duathlon Championships in Targu Mures, Romania on the 12th June and will be working closely with our team here in Mallorca to help Dan prepare for up & coming events. Dan finished in the top 3 of all age groups and nationalities in this championship.

Over the past 5 years Dan has competed at the highest level for Team GB in the World & European Sprint Duathlon Championships with 3 top ten finishes in the World Championships (including a podium 1st place this year) and he has also had 3 top ten finishes in the European Championships (including a podium 2nd place in 2019).

The Sprint Duathlon can vary, but generally consists of a 5km run, 20km bike & 5km run. Dan’s recent event when he won the World Championships it was a 5.4km run, 19.5km bike & 2.5km run with Dan finishing the race 00:59:54. This is an incredible time and looking at both of his transitions from run to bike and bike to run they were both the fastest of all participants at 39 & 40 seconds.

Being a previous client of Cycling Holiday Tours Mallorca in April this year, we cycled with Dan to help him prepare for events leading up to his World Championships in June, and following Dan’s success we are extremely delighted to make this announcement.
